Digital optical (also known as Toslink) connection is a Fibre-Optic Connection that is used for transferring digital audio signals such as Dolby Digital DTS and PCM.
Uses include the connection of Digital Home Cinema Games Consoles CD Players and other quality Hi-Fi Equipment to an AV Receiver or Surround Sound Amp.
The Premium VDC Toslink Cables are manufactured to rigorous tolerances and feature a highly flexible and well-protected POF (Plastic Optical Fibre) cable. The optical connectors are housed in tough metal shells. Used to connect digital equipment together that have Toslink optical connections. These connections look like a square hole (with the corners removed) in your equipment (there are sometimes protective dust caps installed by the manufacturer that have to be removed).
Compatible with all optical SPDIF equipped devices which use the TosLink / optical SPDIF interface.
